Quick answer
What Is A Google Ads Generator?
A Google Ads generator is a tool that writes the text for a Google search ad from a few details about your business. This one builds a complete responsive search ad: 15 headlines, 4 descriptions, sitelinks, callouts, a structured snippet, display paths, keywords, and negative keywords. Every line is checked against Google’s character limits before you see it.
If you came here looking for a Google Ads library, you are in the right place too. Meta has its Ad Library. Google’s closest match is the Ads Transparency Center, which lists ads by advertiser or website, not by industry or keyword. This Google Ads generator fills that gap. It shows what ads in your industry usually say, links you straight to the live ads your competitors run, and writes an ad built to stand apart from them. Paste those ads into the competitor teardown and it grades each one on 8 signals buyers look for, from hard numbers to guarantees, then shows the gaps no competitor owns.

30 characters each
15 Headlines
Keyword, brand, proof, call to action, and question headlines, so Google has real variety to test.
90 characters each
4 Descriptions
Each one works on its own, because Google chooses which to show and in what order.
Bigger ad, more clicks
Sitelinks And Assets
Sitelinks with both description lines, callouts, a structured snippet, and display paths.
Spend on buyers only
Keywords And Negatives
Starter keywords in exact and phrase match, plus negatives that block job seekers and DIY searches.
Why I built it
Google Search Deserved Its Own Ad Library
I use the Meta Ad Library all the time. It is brilliant, but it only shows some ads, and nothing like it exists for Google search. There is no box where you type a niche and see every ad competing for it.
After managing and optimising 500+ ad accounts, I wanted one place that does both jobs: show me what the market is saying, then write an ad that says something better. So I built this Google Ads generator, and it runs entirely in your browser.
15
Headlines per ad
Google allows up to 15 headlines of 30 characters each, and more headlines give it more combinations to test.
4
Descriptions per ad
You can add up to 4 descriptions of 90 characters each, and Google picks which to show.
25
Characters per callout
Callouts and sitelink text are capped at 25 characters, so every word has to earn its place.
The limits above come straight from Google’s responsive search ad guide and its callout and sitelink help pages. The Google Ads generator counts every character for you, so nothing gets cut or rejected.
How it works
What Google Says About Search Ads
More Headlines, Better Testing
Google recommends adding as many unique headlines as you can, keeping each keyword entirely within one headline, and avoiding repeated ideas. It also advises pinning only when necessary, because pinning limits the combinations it can test.
Competitor Names In Your Ads
Google does not restrict trademarks used as keywords. It may restrict ads from a direct competitor that use a trademark in the ad text, after the owner complains (Google trademark policy). That is why the Google Ads generator keeps competitor names out of your copy.
The live ad links use Google’s own Ads Transparency Center, where anyone can search by advertiser name or website and filter by country. For the ads on a search right now, the Google Ads generator opens a Google search for your keyword and location in a new tab, so this page stays open and your ad stays ready.

How To Write A Google Search Ad In 6 Steps
-
Start With The Search, Not Your Brand
Write for the exact words a buyer types, such as “emergency plumber Sydney”, not your company slogan.
-
Put The Keyword In Two Or Three Headlines
Matching the search shows people they found the right ad. Keep each keyword inside one headline.
-
Lead With Proof Only You Can Claim
A review count, a response time, or a guarantee beats “best” and “trusted” every time.
-
Give Every Headline One Job
Keyword, brand, proof, offer, or call to action. Google mixes them, so each must make sense alone.
-
Add Sitelinks, Callouts, And A Snippet
Assets make your ad bigger and give buyers more reasons and more places to click.
-
Send The Click To A Page That Keeps The Promise
If the headline says 60 minute response, the landing page should say it in the first line too.
What Makes A Good Google Search Ad?
A good Google search ad matches the search, makes one specific promise, and proves it. It repeats the keyword so the buyer knows they are in the right place. It leads with a fact competitors cannot copy, and it ends with a clear next step.
Most ads fail because they say what every other ad says. The table shows the difference. Generic lines describe the business. Specific lines give the buyer a reason to choose it.
| Generic headline | Specific headline |
|---|---|
| Best Plumber in Sydney | 60 Minute Response in Sydney |
| Trusted Family Lawyers | Fixed Fee First Meeting |
| Quality Dental Care | Open Saturdays for Check Ups |
| Great Customer Service | 500+ Five Star Reviews |
How Many Headlines Should A Google Ad Have?
Use all 15 headlines if you can make them genuinely different. Google says up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions give it more ad combinations to test, and it can show up to 3 headlines at a time.
Quantity alone does not help. Fifteen headlines that repeat one idea give Google nothing new to test. The Google Ads generator spreads yours across keyword, brand, proof, offer, question, and call to action lines, then flags any default claim you should confirm is true.
Can You See Your Competitors’ Google Ads?
Yes. Google’s Ads Transparency Center shows ads from verified advertisers. Search a competitor’s website, set the region to Australia, and you see their text, image, and video ads with the dates they ran. Add competitor websites to the Google Ads generator and it builds those links for you.
To see the ads showing for a keyword right now, search it on Google from your target area. Results change by location, device, and time, so check a few times. Then write a headline that says what none of them say. Faster still, paste the ads you find into the Competitor Teardown tab. It grades every ad as specific, vague, or missing on 8 signals, lists the claims every competitor repeats, and turns your proof into edge headlines.
What Results Can Better Ads Deliver?
Better ads are one part of a healthy account, and the results come from the whole system working together. In an Australian pet ecommerce account I worked on, a seven-day period after optimisation and budget changes showed spend up 28.70% while reported purchase conversion value rose 78.90%.
That lift came from selective budget changes campaign by campaign, clean tracking, and ads matched to intent. A sharper ad gets the click. The account decides whether that click becomes a sale.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About The Google Ads Generator
Is This Google Ads Generator Free?
Yes. The Google Ads generator is free to use as often as you like, with no sign-up. Building the ad and running the competitor teardown are free. To copy the lines, download the Google Ads Editor CSV, and get a branded PDF of your results, fill in the short report form once and everything unlocks straight away.
Does It Use AI?
It uses a rule set I built from managing 500+ ad accounts, with industry patterns, Google’s limits, and policy checks. It runs in your browser, so it is fast and private. Always read and edit the ad before you publish it.
Will Google Approve These Ads?
The Google Ads generator keeps every line within Google’s character limits and leaves out competitor names. Google still reviews every ad against its policies, so make sure each claim is true and your landing page matches it.
Can I Use A Competitor’s Name In My Ads?
You can bid on it as a keyword, because Google does not restrict trademarks as keywords. Using it in your ad text can get your ad restricted if the owner complains, so keep it out of your copy.
What Is A Competitor Ad Teardown?
A competitor ad teardown is a side by side review of the Google ads that show next to yours. This one grades each ad as specific, vague, or missing on 8 signals: hard numbers, reviews, speed, price, guarantee, credentials, local signal, and call to action. Specific means a detail a buyer can check, like a number or a named suburb.
How Do I Beat The Google Ads Next To Mine?
Search your main keyword from your service area, copy the ads you see, and paste them into the Competitor Teardown tab. Skip the claims every ad repeats, such as free quote or call now, and lead with a specific claim no competitor makes. A real number beats a vague promise almost every time.
What Is A Good Ad Strength?
Aim for Good or Excellent in Google Ads. Google says Ad Strength does not decide whether your ad can show and is not used in Ad Rank, so treat it as a guide to variety, not a score to chase.
Is What I Type Stored Anywhere?
No. The Google Ads generator runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is sent or saved while you use it. Only if you request the PDF report do your contact details and results go to me, so I can build and email your report.
